Mission Statement
At Liberty Day Nursery our mission is to embrace all children from different backgrounds, regardless of their religion, culture, status and abilities. We do this by building an all-inclusive setting where children can grow, thrive and develop, and where all children, parents and carers have freedom of expression in an inclusive and diverse environment.
Vision Statement
At Liberty Day Nursery & Pre-School, we ensure everyone who comes into the setting can express their feelings and learn. This includes our Special Education Need and Disability (SEND) children who do excellently well, have the best start in life, and have a fun and enjoyable environment to develop in. We believe that all our children have a bright future through learning the curriculum and safeguarding them to ensure their welfare is paramount.

Sensory Room
Our sensory room is a calm, cozy space with textured mats, cushions gentle sounds and even a fish tank to enhance and encourage the children’s sensory exploration. For SENCO children, this space is especially important, offering a safe space to regulate emotions, reduce sensory overload and support individual sensory needs.
Role Play Area
Our role play area allows the children to explore real-world roles through creative play. Equipped with themed resources, dress-up costumes, and child-sized props, this area encourages communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and social development.
Reading Corner
Our reading corner is a quiet, cosy space with soft cushions, warm lighting, and a wide range of age-appropriate books. It provides a calm retreat where children can relax, build early literacy skills, develop imagination, and foster a love of stories in a comfortable and inviting environment.
Outdoor Play Area & Garden
Our outdoor play area and garden provide a safe, stimulating space where children can explore, move, and socialising with each other. With climbing equipment, open space for physical play, and a small garden for planting and digging, children develop coordination, confidence, and curiosity.
