At Liberty Day Nursery, we introduce the concept of community to the children through shared experiences such as birthdays, cultural festivals from different families, and important educational milestones, which encourages children to appreciate diversity and feel a strong sense of belonging within the group.
Throughout the year, we organise several parent-supported trips and excursions, including neighbourhood walks and visits to local places such as libraries and fire stations, helping children build confidence and recognise familiar parts of their community.
At Liberty Day Nursery, our community of parents and carers is a valued and integral part of our preschool. We work in close partnership with families, encouraging involvement in trips and excursions, sharing skills and experiences with the children, and contributing ideas and feedback that help shape our activities. We also maintain a dedicated WhatsApp group to support clear and timely communication, keeping parents informed and connected. This helps to build a warm, supportive and connected network, fostering a caring and collaborative community so that every child and family feels a strong sense of belonging while with us.
